It is so easy to get me worked up about women in science and technology because it should be such a non-issue - there is no reason for girls to decide not to pursue science and math and computer science and there is no reason for them to not be taken seriously when they do enter those fields. But it is an issue, and I read this while I was programming at my programming job and a little tear came out.
